Soon, a group of friends decides to visit a mysterious house filled with missing persons flyers, leading to a series of horrific murders. They are all killed, only to wake up again in the same night as if time has reset.

The trailer also showcases how Until Dawn will adapt the classic choice mechanic from the game. Instead of offering a choose-your-own-adventure format, the film will depict characters dying repeatedly, giving them a chance to try again after death.

Each night, the characters must use every opportunity to uncover clues that will bring them closer to solving the mystery and escaping the house. So far, no one has survived more than 13 nights inside, but this group is determined to break that trend. The trailer hints at the return of Wendigo, while the first masked killer shown resembles the mask worn by Josh (Rami Malek) in the game.
