Not long ago, Yu Yu Hakusho was reported to be getting a live action series produced by Netflix. Actor and singer Takumi Kitamura plays the main character, Yusuke Urameshi. Apart from getting live action which will air in 2024, this anime is also reportedly getting a remake.

This anime by Yoshihiro Togashi also aired on TV7 in the 2000s. Yu Yu Hakusho tells the life of Yusuke Urameshi, a high school boy who was given a second life after he died when he was hit by a truck because he was trying to save a small child. After returning to life, he was appointed as a detective from another world.
