Apex Legends announces collaboration with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The latest gameplay also shows new skins, Materia, and Buster Sword in the game. This crossover will start on January 9th 2024. Just watch the trailer in the video below!

The trailer starts with the Buster Sword from FFVII Rebirth. Then the players are shown doing Hop-Ups to get Materia. There are three types of materia that can be obtained, namely purple materia, blue materia and red materia. Of course, these three Materia have different effects when used.

Meanwhile, Buster Sword R2R5 is a Mythic cosmetic that can be used on all characters that are part of this collaboration. For a list of new skins, you can check the list below!

Apex Legends is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. This crossover starts on January 9th 2024. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released exclusively on PS5 on February 29th 2024.
