Smartphone owners are familiar with a benchmark app called AnTuTu. Recently, the app is removed from Playstore. Reportedly, the app is removed because the owner, Cheetah Mobile, is accused of “data controlling” by stealing the information of anyone that uses the app.

5. Geekbench
Geekbench is a benchmarking app made to measure a processor’s performance on macOS, Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS. Developed and managed by a company based in Canda, Primate Labs. Technically, the app existed to measure new technologies such as Augmented Reality and Machine Learning.
For the measurement result, Geekbench shows the scores based on single-core performance and multi-core performance. The measurement is obtained from several tests that are related to the device’s daily usage.

Initially, 3DMark can only be enjoyed by desktop and notebook users to measure their hardware performance, but not 3DMark offers an Android-based app. With 3DMark, the user can check how powerful their smartphone is.
The app’s interface is user-friendly. Beginners only need to run a benchmark in standard or extreme. Upon choosing one of the tests, the user will see a trademark loading screen of 3DMark. There are three phases of the test, Graphic Test 1, Graphic Test 2, and Physics Test.

Similar to 3DMark, PCMark for Android initially was made for desktop and notebook. Developed by Futuremark, the app is claimed to be able to measure the device’s performance and other non-isolated elements. PCMark for Android also test the device’s performance based on its daily usage, not just based on one algorithm that’s usually used on desktop and notebook platform.

GFXBench is a cross-platform app to measure the graphic performance, performance stability, render quality, and power usage. This app will greatly help you know the performance of your Windows phone in detail.
