Reporting from Variety.com, Paramount is reported to expand the Transformers universe by developing two scripts as they have found two scriptwriters; James Vanderbilt and Joby Harold. Vanderbilt's story will eventually develop into Beast Wars: Transformers, a famous 3D animated series back in the 90s.
In the animated series, Autobots came as Maximals robots that appeared as prehistoric animals. Optimus Primal, Rattrap, and Cheetor will come to the silver screen akin to their 3D animated characters.
While the Decepticons will be represented by Predacons, and it still has Megatron, Waspinator, and Tarantula.
