Recently ATLUS introduced a new character named Guernica, who will appear in the latest DLC pack for Persona 5 Tactica, entitled "Repaint Your Heart". This additional DLC is scheduled to be released along with the launch of Persona 5 Tactica on November 17, and invites the Phantom Thieves to explore The Streets area—an area controlled by the terrifying Guernica.

Guernica is described as a street artist with the ability to create large-scale works of art without leaving a trace. This activity attracts the attention of Akechi Goro, who then investigates the incident together with Kasumi and Joker. This started with his latest street art piece featuring Arsene's Persona—something that people who don't have a Persona should not be able to see.

In the DLC, the player enters Guernica’s painting, with Akechi, Joker, and Kasumi having to stop Guernica's rampage through new levels and new gameplay mechanics. They will also meet Luca, another new character who will help them out of difficult situations.

In keeping with the street art theme, this DLC introduces a new painting mechanic—damage to an area will cover it with the paint color of the player's team, and enemies standing on it will lose the ability to defend and become vulnerable to knockdown attacks. However, the same also applies to the player's team, which places more emphasis on positioning and strategy in battle.

SEGA has also confirmed that completing the main story and DLC will open up the possibility of Akechi and Kasumi being used in the main game's levels. This is the first time Joker, Kasumi, and Akechi will reunite in a game since Persona 5 Royal, where all three were playable at the end of the game.
