After a month of hiatus, One Piece manga finally returns with chapter 1054. One Piece chapter 1054 continues Ryokugyu's plan to invade Wano Country. Most of the stories match the One Piece 1054 Reddit spoilers that Dunia Games shared on the other day.

Previously on One Piece 1053

One Piece chapter 1053 revealed the bounty of Luffy, Kid, and Law which the three skyrocketed to 3 billion belly. This was the result of the actions of three Worst Generations for defeating Big Mom and Kaido.

Meanwhile, Robin learned of the fact that Pluton was in Wano. Robin got the important information from Oden's father who was still alive, Kozuki Sukiyaki.

The last page revealed the four new Yonko face sketches: Shanks the Redhead, Blackbeard Teach, Straw Hat Luffy, and the Genius Clown Buggy. Luffy and Buggy replaced Big Mom and Kaido as the new Yonko.

On the other hand, the mysterious admiral Ryokugyu, was finally revealed for the first time and ready to break up the party at Wano. It was shown the cruelty of Ryokugyu using his devil fruit to spread plant roots. The roots coiled and pierced the scattered members of the Beasts Pirates, then sucked the life essence from the bodies of Kaido's henchmen, including King and Queen.

After asking a battleship, Ryokugyu determined to kill a boy who appeared on a wanted poster. The boy in question is the captain of the Straw Hat pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.

The Samurai Prevent the Jungle Man to Crash Wano

The Green Bull aka Ryokugyu's Devil Fruit is called the 'Mori Mori No Mi'. Ryokugyu boasts that he is a Jungle Man with life-giving powers. "I am 'Logia'! I am Nature,” Ryokugyu exclaimed.

Then Samurai Wano fight against the Green Bull. The samurai are determined to protect Luffy and friends who are still recuperating. Don't let Green Bull enter Wano and cause chaos in a land that has just ended their war.

The samurai cut the tree trunks grown by the Green Bull. Yamato also joined the fight and struck the Green Bull with haki.

Lastly, Momonosuke comes to bite the Green Bull's tree trunk. Momo tells Yamato not to join the fight. However, the situation is worrying, Momo's dragon version is wrapped in a tree controlled by Green Bull.

Red Hair Pirates at Wano Waters

Shanks and his crew are at sea near Wano and it seems they want to check on Luffy's condition, but Shanks wants to clear up Bartolomeo's problem first. Reportedly, Bartolomeo claimed to be Luffy's subordinate and threw a tantrum by burning the flag of the Akagami pirate group.

News in the newspaper that reported Luffy's recent bounty makes Shanks feel nostalgic. He remembers that he had attacked a Navy ship to take a fruit that could make a rubber-like body, which Luffy then accidentally ate.

Shanks also sacrificed himself to save Luffy from a sea monster. As a result, Shanks lost one of his arm.

Now, Shanks is watching Luffy become a Yonko, mirroring himself. To his crew, Shanks says that this is the time to find One Piece.

After Luffy Crowned as the Emperor of the Seas, Sabo Becomes Emperor of Flames

News in the newspaper reported that Sabo had killed the King Cobra of Alabasta. It is said that the death of Nefertari Cobra was caused by Sabo, Luffy's adopted brother. Ironically, the Kingdom of Alabasta is Luffy's alliance for a long time. If this news reaches Luffy's ears, it will cause an uproar!

Previously, Sabo and the Revolutionary Army planned to save Kuma. Just then, the Marines, under the leadership of Admirals Ryokugyu and Fujitora, came to confront the Revolutionary Army. However, Sabo and the Revolutionary Army were able to save Kuma, then fled.

After Luffy was crowned as the the Emperor of the Seas, now Sabo is nicknamed the Emperor of Flames. These two brothers have reached a terrifying level, even Luffy and Sabo have surpassed their respective mentors.

In the last scene, Akainu is seen talking to a new character named Kurouma. The Marines regard Sabo as a major threat whose popularity has surpassed Dragon, the supreme commander of the Revolutionary Army itself.
