The MPL Indonesia Season 15 (MPL ID S15) competition still has 1 week left where week 9 will be the end of the Regular Season. Meanwhile, the teams that have successfully qualified for the playoffs have been determined. One of the 6 teams that will compete in the playoffs is Geek Fam.

Geek Fam became the second team to successfully win a ticket to the playoffs. Although they stumbled at the beginning of the competition, Baloyskie and his friends managed to rise and move towards the top of the standings. They also appeared more solid with their two young stars, Maykids and Kennzyskie.

As one of the teams that managed to advance to the playoffs, Geek Fam apparently has a big target to advance to the Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was conveyed by Baloyskie, as the team captain and a veteran figure on the team.

Check out the following review, Dunia Games chats with Baloyskie about the MPL ID S15 playoffs and hopes for the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC).

Optimistic About Facing Playoffs with Geek Fam, Baloyskie Wants to Bring the Team to the 2025 Esports World Cup!

In an exclusive interview with Dunia Games, Baloyskie shared his thoughts on how Geek Fam will perform in the MPL Indonesia Season 15 playoffs. Last season, Geek Fam had an impressive run, managing to eliminate FNATIC ONIC, but faced a setback in their next match.

They were defeated by RRQ Hoshi, which led to their exit from the Lower Bracket and prevented them from advancing to the M6 World Championship. Reflecting on the previous season, Baloyskie pointed out the team's weaknesses, noting that their chemistry was lacking.

"I believe we weren't solid at that time; there was no bonding, and our gameplay wasn't up to par," Baloyskie stated. "This season, we are focusing on building that bond. Last season, we gave it our all, you could say," He added, "We worked on our out-game first, then our in-game."

Baloyskie also mentioned that he is ready to face any opponent in the upcoming playoffs, emphasizing that they are concentrating on their own strengths. "I don't mind who we face; we will fight anyone. No matter how strong they are, we will learn to improve ourselves," he explained.

Lastly, Baloyskie shared his aspiration to compete in the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) with his team. "I really want to go to the Esports World Cup because as I get older, I need to secure my future, whether it's for marriage or other things. I want this opportunity; I truly want to see the fans there and experience the high enthusiasm for esports," he concluded.
