Comifuro 16 was lively and attended by thousands of visitors, cosplayers, and pop culture art creators. The Comic Frontier event is a creative market event that has been held regularly every year since 2012. When it was first held, Comic Frontier only accommodated 35 creative circles to join the event.

Over time and with the rapid growth of the creative industry in Indonesia, Comic Frontier has become a creative movement capable of bringing together hundreds of creators in one event.

On 6 and 7 May 2023, many people were enthusiastic about visiting the Comifuro 16 event which was again held offline, which took place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang Regency.

Comifuro 16 was held with the hope that Comic Frontier could become an event that provides a new space for freedom of expression in the creative industry without any restrictions in the form of various stigmas from society.

The Comic Frontier event is also expected to be able to drive Indonesia's creative industry by bringing together various groups, ranging from independent creators, the community, to professional creators.

In the two days of holding the Comifuro 16 event, visitors can find various creative works from hundreds of creators who fill the Comifuro 16 market area.

Various creative creators ranging from comic artists, illustrators, cosplayers, novelists, musicians, animators, game developers, to virtual content creators are here to give their best work at Comifuro 16. Not only exhibiting their work or selling, these talented creators also appear to show their creative works them in the main event held at the Comifuro 16 Main Stage.

Panel Discussion Sessions discussing various interesting topics around the world of pop culture were also held again. Visitors can also show expression by participating in the Utattemita karaoke session held at the Mini Stage in the lobby area of the event.

The Comifuro 16 event took place in a lively manner because it was enlivened by Vtubers who appeared on the main stage of this event, namely MAHA5, Ayunda Risu, Kurenji Olie, Pavolia Reine, and Kobo Kanaeru. Attended by talented musicians and DJs, the Comifuro 16 event became even more lively with their musical performances that entertained the audience at the event which was attended by many fans of Japanese culture and pop culture.
