Several days ago, Capcom shares the details on the multiplayer mode called Resident Evil: Verse. Capcom also permits console owners to try the closed beta version of RE: Verse. Soon after that, gameplay videos of RE: Verse starts popping up. What makes the game unique is that the player will turn into a monster and attack other players after they died.

The monster transformation of the dead player is decided by the virus sample they collected. The more they collect the virus, the stronger their monster going to be. The virus sample is also a buff to strengthen their player.

RE: Verse will be launched in a bundle with Resident Evil Village on 7 May 2021. Speaking of Resident Evil Village, there a leaked video of the game. You can watch the video on YouTube if you don’t mind spoilers.
