Recently, the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) of the Republic of Indonesia, Johnny G. Pate, strongly appealed to Electronic System Operators (PSE) operating in Indonesia to immediately register for PSE before 20 July 2022. "I want to emphasize that if there is an error or negligence in registering the PSE, of course the PSE will be unregistered. All domestic and foreign PSEs are required to register through a risk-based electronic integrated business licensing system or often called the Online Single Submission Risk-Based Approach (OSS RBA) no later than 20 July 2022.

Kominfo has also announced that so far there are 4,634 PSE registered, consisting of 4,559 domestic PSE and 75 foreign PSE. Foreign PSEs already registered include TikTok, Linktree, and Spotify, while big names like Google, Netflix, Facebook, and Twitter are yet to be registered.
