The ninja life in Naruto, especially for the warriors, is filled with battles, so, it’s not really surprising that they often got various scars on their bodies; whether it’s from an enemy's attack, overtraining, or even from enduring torture when they get caught by the enemy. Here are some names of the ninjas with frightening looks due to their battle-scars that remind them of their struggles in life.

15. Byakuren

The First Mizukage and founder of Kirigakure. Aside from his jerky eyes, Byakuren has a quite long scar ran across the left side of his face.

14. Iruka Umino

The Chuunin who teaches at the Ninja Academy in Konohagakure as well as the father figure for Naruto. Since childhood, Iruka has had a horizontal scar across the bridge of his nose.

13. Shigure

The Genin of Amegakure who participated in the Chuunin Exam alongside Naruto and his friends. Despite having a massive size, he died without a fight against Gaara.

12. Zangei

The bounty exchange master who ran the Land of Fire Bounty Station. Along with his thick mustache, the scar on his face makes Zangei looks pretty intimidating.
