Dunia Games Cheat returned with another interesting guest star. The latest DG Cheat episode on Wednesday 3 April 2023, featured Bimo, a YouTuber from the Picky Picks YouTube channel, as the guest star. As someone who has started his career on YouTube since 2015, Bimo shared how his YouTube channel got its name "Picky Picks". The channel was originally created just to vent his hobby of making videos since high school. It never occurred to him how it could become his livelihood as it is today.

“Because from the beginning, when I was in high school, I really enjoyed making videos and such. Ultimately, I posted them on YouTube, because I thought no one was going to watch it, right, just for fun, and now it's become a daily thing,” Bimo revealed. He also explained how -- from 2015 to 2018 -- he didn't really understand the concept of making money from YouTube. So, in those four years, even though his videos got quite a lot of viewers, at that time, they couldn't get maximized by him.

The peak of Picky Picks' popularity occured in 2019, where one of his videos, which had only a three-letter title, was trending and his YouTube channel started to gain more viewers, “It's only until 2019 the channel got noticed, it's like a dream. It was as if no one was watching it, and suddenly it was trending, with only three letters in the title. It's a life changer,” Bimo told Punipun in a segment of DGCheat.

Even though it took 4 years for his YouTube channel to reach this current level of success, Bimo never slacks and has always been consistent in creating content. His biggest source of motivation comes from his beloved mother, who always supports and encourages him to create content.

“My mom always supports me. After making a video, she always reads the comments, always gives support. Thus, I also get enthusiastic about creating content, that's the biggest (source of motivation) and I will never forget it,” Bimo said.

His effort certainly met some challenges when he started creating content and throughout the four years of finding the footings for his YouTube channel. Furthermore, according to him, the issue of capital money was the most important when creating content at the beginning of his career. He even mentioned trust issues, as they still didn't know and believed in what content their audience was looking for. But Picky Picks never gave up and kept trying to be consistent until finally he became a popular name in the Indonesian YouTube scene.
