Similar to Genshin Impact, leaks for Honkai Star Rail have been circulating around since the leak of their early character banners. With the unique playable characters in Honkai Star Rail, many fans are looking forward to which characters will appear next. The latest talking point for many fans has been Kafka, the 5-Star character from The Nihility path, reportedly to make a debut around June or July 2023.

According to several sources, the next addition to the list of playable characters in Honkai Star Rail will probably be Yukong. This character is reportedly coming alongside the upcoming 1.1 update, as seen from leaks regarding Yukong's gameplay.

A leaker by the pseudonym Toxic Paimon posted a two-minute clip showing Yukong. The video showcases Yukong's idle animation, as well as battle cutscenes. Based on the leaked information, Yukong is an Imaginary character of The Harmony path.

Currently, the only 5-Star playable character in the Imaginary element is Welt Yang, who's from The Nihility path. It is reported that another upcoming character that will be present in Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update, Luocha, is a 5-Star with an Imaginary element as well.

Yukong is the Helm Master of the Xianzhou Alliance's Sky-Faring Commission and also one of the Xianzhou Loufu's Six Charioteers. Players encounter Yukong alongside the 4-Star character Tingyun in the current main storyline.

The current character banner in Honkai Star Rail is Seele, the 5-Star Quantum character which runs until May 17, 2023. After that, Jing Yuan will be available from May 17 to June 7, 2023. Honkai Star Rail has been massively successful since its launch and is loved by many with its entertaining gameplay and the numerous interesting characters.
