The Inazuma Arc in Genshin Impact is nearing an end. Players will shortly see the long-awaited new region, Sumeru, The new region is slated for a launch alongside the release of the version 3.0 update. Genshin Impact always brings in new characters in each update, such as Kuki Shinobu, who recently joined, and Shikanoin Heizou who will be coming soon in the v2.8 update. 

Recently, a reliable leaker came up with a list of characters that will be coming to Genshin Impact alongside the new region Sumeru in the v3.0 update. These characters may give you an idea of what the v3.0 update will bring to the game. 

1. Ikhfa 

Rumors about Ikhfa's debut in version 3.0 have been circulating along with two other characters. This character is predicted to debut in the v3.0 update or maybe v3.1. This female character is believed to be a Cryo Elemental user and will be the first Cryo Catalyst character in Genshin Impact. In Hebrew, Ikhfa means "frozen", which may refer to her role as a Cryo Catalyst.

2. Al-Haitham

Female fans have recently been shocked by the leaked details of an upcoming character named Al-Haitham. Many believe that character design is very reminiscent of Su from Honkai Impact 3D, just like Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun. Al-Haitham is predicted to be a Sumeru character with Dendro elements who wields a Sword. However, it is still unclear whether he is a 4-Star or 5-Star character.

3. Nahida/Kusanali

Also called Lesser Lord Kusanali, this character is rumored to be the youngest Archon Dendro in Teyvat. At first glance, this character also shares a resemblance to Paimon. She is described as a little girl with white-silver hair. According to the plot, Kusanali is the youngest Archon and is only 500 years old. This makes sense given her petite appearance. Her preferred weapon is yet to be confirmed. But if she holds the position as an Archon, she will certainly be a 5-Star character with Dendro as an element.

4. Cyno

This character is one of the characters that were featured in the trailer for Teyvat's storyline some time ago. However, it is still not clear when he will make his debut and what weapon he will wield. However, Cyno can be seen using a Polearm in the trailer video. It seems that this character will have a big influence on Sumeru's storyline in the future.

5. Tighnari

Tighnari is rumored to be a 5-Star character who will be coming to Genshin Impact. As a Bow user, his abilities are inspired by Yoimiya and Ganyu. He is also rumored to be able to regenerate arrows that can mark enemies to issue powerful blows just like Yoimiya. His Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst are said to be able to inflict additional damage against Dendro.

6. Dori

This character, who is rumored to be a merchant, has a similar appearance to a genie. According to the leaker, Dori's real name is Dori Sangemah Bay. She's an upcoming character with Electro elements and may probably be a Claymore user. According to some reports, her Elemental Skill allows her to summon a Turret that inflicts Electro DMG. Whereas her Elemental Burst can dish out Electro DMG even when she's not around. And, her Elemental Burst allows her to regenerate HP.

7. Collei

This character has a tragic story that most fans in the Genshin Impact community are already familiar with. She is known to be good friends with Amber, but she has to go with Cyno to study in the college city of Sumeru. She is rumored to be a Dendro-Bow character. She's also believed to be a 4-Star character with similar abilities to Amber's. She can summon cat bombs, just like Amber's Baron Bunny.

8. Nilou

Based on the rumors, Nilou is described as one of the more elegant characters, given that she's also described as a Persian princess with a thin nylon shirt and a typical princess scarf. She also seems to have horns (perhaps part of her headdress) on her head. Leaks of her burst animation have recently been circulating, and it is rumored that Nilou will become a 5-Star character. She is said to be a Hydro-Sword character.

9. Dehya

There hasn't been much news circulating about this character. The character design is very reminiscent of Liyue's Xinyan. She is rumored to be a tall female character. According to some rumors, she will be a Pyro-Claymore character, similar to Xinyan.

10. Baizhu

Last but not least, we have a character that Genshin Impact players may already be familiar with. This character, who has gained attention from his first appearance, became the first character in the game to possess the Dendro vision. His Elemental Skill and Burst are likely related to the white snake that's always with him. Baizhu's weapon of choice is yet to be confirmed. But fans are certainly excited to see Baizhu as one of the playable characters when the Sumeru update arrives.
