A while ago, the One Piece anime featured an epic battle animation between Luffy gear 5 against Kaido. Toei Animation spent a lot of money because they called the best animators from all over the world. Meanwhile, a YouTuber recreated the 3D animation between Luffy Gear 5 against Kaido with a modest budget.

Reporting from Instagram oploverzz, Brazilian YouTuber Jalex Rosa animated the battle between Luffy Gear 5 against Kaido with a modest budget. If you notice, this animation is not canned. In his video, Jalex also mentioned that it took him 100 days to complete it. Head over to this link to check it out!

The video consists of Luffy being hit by Kaido before he bounces back to his Gear 5 form. Interestingly, the face of Luffy is Jalex Rosa himself. Luffy, who is on the verge of death, rises back to his Gear 5 form and starts laughing. The cartoon-style animation from him is of course also made by Jalex.

Even in the comments column, some netizens said that this animation still looks better than One Piece Live Action. What do you think?
