Item Build

Behemoth Hunter’s Tough Boots

For his first item, Kairi picked Tough Boots for the additional Magic Resist it offers, and to reduce CC effects.

Whereas for the Retribution, Kairi picked Behemoth Hunter to allow him to steal HP from his opponent.

Endless Battle

After getting his boots, Kairi immediately picked Endless Battle to increase his damage output. Endless Battle increases several crucial attributes: Max HP, Physical Attack, Physical Lifesteal, Mana Regen, Cooldown Reduction, and Movement Speed.

With this item, Ling can dish out a huge amount of damage and sustain longer in team fights due to the additional Lifesteal from this item.

War Axe

War Axe is another item that’s perfect for any Assassin like Ling due to the additional 550 Max HP, 45 Physical Attack, 10% Cooldown Reduction it offers. And, it also has a Passive that allows him to enter battle stance upon inflicting damage to any enemy unit.

It increases his Physical Attack by 9 points and Physical Penetration by 3 points each second for 3s, up to 8 stacks (Marksmen/Mages/Supports only receive 33% of these stacked effects); it also grants 20% Movement Speed at full stacks.

Demon Hunter Sword

For the next item, Kairi picked Demon Hunter Sword -- the perfect item to counter Tanks. 

Demon Hunter Sword also increases damage output in the late game, allowing you to further increase your damage as the game enters the late phase.

Malefic Roar

To give Ling an edge over enemy Tanks, Kairi picked Malefic Roar for the additional Physical Attack and Physical Penetration it offers. Aside from that, Malefic Roar also has a Passive that increases Physical Penetration by 20% against targets with high defense.

The higher the targets’ Armor, the higher the damage you can generate from Malefic Roar.

Windtalker

For his last item, Kairi picked Windtalker for the additional 40% Attack Speed, 20 Movement Speed, and 10% Critical Chance.

Switch Tough Boots with Winter Truncheon

Once he got all the items for Ling, Kairi switched Tough Boots with Winter Truncheon, a survival item that can save Ling in certain situations. This item allows you to freeze your hero, making them immune to any damage for a few seconds.
