Shikanoin Heizou Main DPS

Although Heizou can trigger Swirl with each attack, it’d be better to focus on increasing his Anemo damage aside from his Elemental Mastery to get the best out of his attacks. For this build, it’s highly advised to pair Heizou with an off-field Sub-DPS like Raiden Shogun or Yelan.

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (5✰): Increases Movement SPD by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s. Max 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.

Alternatives

Skyward Atlas (5✰):  Increases Elemental DMG Bonus by 12%. Normal Attack hits have a 50% chance to earn the favor of the clouds. which actively seek out nearby opponents to attack for 15s, inflicting 160% ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 30s.

Mappa Mare (4✰): Triggering an Elemental reaction grants an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus for 10s. Max 2 stacks.

Solar Pearl (4✰): Normal Attack hits increase Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 20% for 6s. Likewise, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits increase Normal Attack DMG by 20% for 6s.

Royal Grimoire (4✰): Upon inflicting damage to an opponent, increases CRIT Rate by 8%. Max 5 stacks. A CRIT hit removes all existing stacks.

This trigger can occur once every 0.2s.

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence Set

• 2-Piece Bonus: ATK +18%
• 4-Piece Bonus: When casting an Elemental Skill, if the character has 15 or more Energy, they lose 15 Energy and Normal/Charged/Plunging Attack DMG is increased by 50% for 10s. This effect will not trigger again during that duration.

Talents

You need lots of resources to level up Heizou’s Talents, which means you'll also need to spend a lot of time doing so. Therefore, you should prioritize his Talents in this order:

1. Heartstopper Strike (Elemental Skill)
2. Normal Attack: Fudou Style: Martial Arts = Windmuster Kick (Elemental Burst)

Team Comps

Heizou Main DPS isn’t that demanding when it comes to team comps. He’s quite versatile and compatible with any type of character as Anemo can react with any kind of element except for Geo. You can pick Bennett, Xingqiu, Fischl, Diona, Yelan, and some other characters, depending on what characters you have.

1. Shikanoin Heizou;
2. Yelan;
3. Fischl;
4. Bennett.

Since Heizou can easily trigger Swirl with his normal attacks, he’s highly versatile, especially when paired with an off-field DPS.

Fischl’s Elemental Skill will consistently apply Electro. And, with a proper rotation, can have 100% uptime.

Bennett provides heals as well as an additional attack for the entire team when he’s within the AOE of an Elemental Burst.
