The Oculus Studios Facebook page posted a new video for the virtual reality version of Resident Evil 4 for the Oculus Quest 2 headset system on Monday, September 27, 2021. The video reveals that Resident Evil 4 VR will be released on October 21, 2021. .
CAPCOM partnered with Facebook and developer Armature for this Resident Evil 4 VR. The game will be played in a new first-person perspective and controlled via an analog stick.
Players can move their upper body independently, and can use the touch controller to pick up items and perform any interactions.

As we know, previously CAPCOM released Resident Evil 4 for GameCube and then for PlayStation 2 in 2005. Since then, CAPCOM has ported the game to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android, and PC.
Resident Evil 4 was recently released on Switch in May 2019. The story of Resident Evil 4 is about Leon S. Kennedy who tries to save the daughter of the president of the United States of America in Spain.
Fyi, Resident Evil Village is the eighth game in CAPCOM's Resident Evil survival horror game series. The game was released on May 7, 2021, for PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Stadia).
