As we know, Brody deals the most painful damage among marksmen in the early game. Even without items, he can output tremendous damage before his ultimate even becomes available.

The strategy against Granger is to stick to him and land all your skill shots and basic attacks. Don't forget you'll also need the mechanics to dodge Granger's first skill, which typically deals massive damage.

When executed properly, Brody can completely eliminate Granger and gain crucial snowball potential to control the game, ideally ending it by mid-game.

In terms of damage mechanics and item builds, Brody actually shares many similarities with Granger. Both are skill-dependent damage dealers who become extremely powerful with Sky Piercer.
