Honkai Star Rail has a long list of playable characters, some of them can even be obtained for free really early in the game. The one character that you’ll certainly get from the very beginning of the game is Trailblazer, the main character. Early in the game, your Trailblazer’s path is The Destruction, which means they do physical damage.

Honkai Star Rail: How to Get Trailblazer (Fire)

Unlike most 5-Star characters, to get Trailblazer, you don’t have to rely on your luck using the Warp system. Players can unlock Trailblazer (Fire) by completing the Jarilo-VI storyline. You need to follow the Quest Line to unlock Trailblazer (Fire) in Honkai Star Rail. Aside from that, you also need to reach level 24 Trailblazer and complete story missions to reach the final mission, End of the Eternal Freeze. 

By completing the missions, you’ll unlock a battle that pits the Astral Express crew with Cocolia on top of the snowy mountain. Cocolia is one of the toughest guards who possesses several ultimate moves that can easily devastate your character. But no worries though, as you can still defeat her. Just make sure that you bring the highest level characters in your lineup to exploit Cocolia’s weaknesses towards Fire, Lightning, and Quantum. If you’re yet to have a powerful 5-Star character, you can bring characters like Dan Heng, March 7th, Serval, or Trailblazer (Physical) with decent levels.

Honkai Star Rail: Trailblazer’s (Fire) Strengths

In Honkai Star Rail, Trailblazer (Fire) inflicts great damage. This character is even considered an S-tier character. By having Trailblazer (Fire) in your party, you can gain access to Taunt as a Tank. This ability allows you to manipulate enemies’ aggro and take up more damage in comparison to other characters to save their allies. Trailblazer (Fire) can also provide damage buff to party members. It’d be better if you pair Trailblazer (Fire) with a Healer or March 7th to maintain their HP as a Tank. 

Trailblazer’s Ultimate can be switched to an AoE fire damage, the basic damage will increase with the stacks of their Magma Will. Even as a Tank, this character can actually dish out a decent amount of damage. However, you still have to level up your Trailblazer from scratch. Thus, be sure to prepare some Traveler’s Guide, Adventure Log, or Travel Encounters to level them up through a series of different Eidolon and Traces as well as Light Cone than you’d use for Trailblazer (Physical).

Honkai Star Rail Trailblazer (Fire): Best Relics

If you’re looking for the best build for Trailblazer (Fire), you should consider using the best relic, which is the Knight of Purity Palace. If you use 2 pieces of Knight of Purity Palace, you’ll increase their DEF by 12%, and 3 pieces will increase their DEF by 25%, as well as granting them a shield that can take up 20% of max HP. 

Another option for Trailblazer (Fire) is the Guard of Withering Snow, which increases DEF by 20% and grants a shield that absorbs 20% of max HP. 

Honkai Star Rail Trailblazer (Fire): Best Light Cones

Light Cones are items that characters can use according to the Paths they belong to. They are similar to weapons in other games. When a character is equipped with a Light Cone, they’ll receive bonus stats, and if the character uses a Light Cone that suits their Path, they’ll receive an additional skill from the Light Cone. 

For Trailblazer (Fire), Moment of VIctory is arguably the best Light Cone. Aside from this item, you can also use On the Fall of an Aeon as the alternative. Both of these Light Cones are 5-Star items that suit Trailblazer (Fire) really well, giving them attack buffs everytime they use their Ultimate. Another alternative you should consider using is the Texture of Memories, which increases attack speed and critical rate. By using a suitable Light Cone, you can boost Trailblazer’s (Fire) abilities and effectiveness in battles.
