Pokemon GO Sandshrew Community Day will take place on Sunday 13 March 2022 from 11 AM to 5 PM local time. Trainers will find Sandshrew spawn more frequently in Pokemon GO.

Not just the yellow common Kanto Region Sandshrew, but also the white Alola Region Sandshrew. The yellow Sandshrew is of the Ground-type, whereas the white Alolan Sandshrew is of the Ice & Steel-type.

Both versions of Sandshrew will spawn more often in the wild for Trainers to catch. During this event, Incense lasts for 3 hours, so you can use it to lure Sandshrew.

You can also go to Pokestop to turn on your Lure Modules to attract more Pokemon. Lure Module lasts for 3 hours instead of the usual 30 minutes.

If you take snapshots with your Pokemon, you’ll get photobombed by Sandhsrew on several occasions. Don’t forget to put your Eggs into Incubator during this event to get 75% less distance to hatch them, so it will take ¼ of the required distance. 10 km Eggs only take 2.5 km to hatch.

Be sure to take advantage of this event especially those who don’t have Shiny Sandshrew & Shiny Alolan Sandshrew. During this event, you’ll get a higher chance to catch the Shiny form.

So, don’t miss out on this opportunity. After this event ends, the spawn rate and chance to catch the Shiny will return. The Sandshrew Community Day is FREE, but there will be an additional ticket at the shop, Gritty and Glacial, that can be purchased for IDR 5,000,-. This ticket offers a special quest, so you don’t have to buy it.

Don’t forget to evolve your Sandshrew & Alolan Sandshrew during this event between 11 AM to 7 PM to get the special Community Day Moveset. Sandslash will have the Moveset Night Slash, whereas Alolan Sandslash will have Shadow Claw. For now, these moves haven’t changed the Meta so much in battles. However, it’d be better for you to have these Movesets just to get more variations
