During the post-match media conference, Clay said that he wouldn’t feel satisfied ending the season in second place, meaning that he wanted RRQ Hoshi to win the Regular Season of the MPL ID Season 8.

"Surely (we) want to win the Regular Season. It doesn’t matter to finish first or second, but it’s important to secure a spot for the upper bracket in the Playoff," Clay said.

RRQ Hoshi still has the opportunity to win the Regular Season, given that the team will go up against the current leader, Alter Ego.
