Indonesian netizens attacked both of them with accusations as imposor who deliberately lost to ensure the victory of the Philippine team. Coach Yeb and Kairi are professional eSports from the Philippines who have built their careers in the Indonesian esports scene. Coach Yeb and Kairi had received attacks and threats from toxic fans from their country.

In a podcast with Caster MPL PH Wolf, Coach Yeb revealed that him and Kairi had often received threats from toxic fans.

"I've been attacked several times. We were threatened not to return to the Philippines. Now (toxic fans) attacking Kairi, threatening Kairi. You know what I am, I will not let this happen to the players," said Coach Yeb.

This incident came out after Coach Yeb asked fans not to exaggerate the role of the Philippine players in the Indonesian team. He said that the contribution of all players, regardless of the origin of the country, is an important factor in team success.

Coach Yeb expressed his confusion towards Filipino netizens who were angry at him. He stated that this problem was sticking out because of his comments in Tiktok, which was delivered in Indonesian, was interpreted wrongly after being translated into English.

Now, after failing to bring the M5 trophy to Indonesia, some Indonesian netizens who viewed Coach Yeb and Kairi as the cause of defeat, even regarding them as imposor who deliberately made Onic lose. This spicy criticism and baseless accusation are in the spotlight on social media, creating psychological pressure on the two heroes onic.

However, ironically, Coach Yeb and Kairi also received attacks from Filipino netizens. One of the intimidation that had hit Coach Yeb and Kairi was a threat to not return to the Philippines.
