Mobile Legends: Bang Bang once again delivered a major surprise through its latest update in Patch Project NEXT 2025. One of the biggest highlights was the introduction of four brand-new maps, each offering unique atmospheres and mechanics to shake up the game. It was no wonder that fans grew curious, especially MPL ID pro players who had already tested these battlegrounds and chosen their favorites. From there, an exciting discussion emerged about which New MLBB Maps Favored players the most.
Each of these maps introduced by Moonton carried its own distinct identity. Some focused heavily on rotation pathways, others emphasized grassy areas as ambush zones, while one even introduced airborne elements that sped up the pace of play. These differences brought refreshing layers of strategy, demanding players to stay sharp and adaptive.
Pro players typically had their own unique reasons when deciding their favorite maps. Some made their picks based on their in-game roles, others aligned their preferences with their hero pool advantages, while a few simply chose whichever map could make matches feel more exciting. This made the list of New MLBB Maps Favored by MPL ID players a true reflection of diverse needs and preferences.
Through MPL ID’s sources, several well-known pro players shared their thoughts on these maps. While some leaned toward Broken Walls, others leaned toward Flying Cloud, and many agreed that Dangerous Grass held the greatest potential for surprise plays. Not to be overlooked, Expanding Rivers also stood out as the map of choice for players who preferred fast-paced rotations.
List of New MLBB Maps Favored by the Players
Broken Walls – Rezz, Shogun
Rezz quickly chose Broken Walls as his top pick. “My favorite is the one with lots of broken walls, because many heroes will become stronger there,” he explained. With its shattered terrain and open passages, heroes with high mobility would surely shine.
Similarly, Shogun also leaned toward Broken Walls as his favorite. “Honestly, all of them look interesting, but the one with the broken walls really stands out for me. As an EXP Laner, it will make it much easier to find escape routes everywhere,” he said. His reasoning highlighted how Broken Walls gave EXP Laners more freedom in rotation and teamfights.
Flying Cloud – Arfy, Toyy
Meanwhile, Arfy found Flying Cloud to be the most unique and efficient. “The one that lets you fly. It helps me return to laning faster,” he stated. The ability to swiftly head back to lanes was especially advantageous for Gold Laners.
Toyy also agreed that Flying Cloud brought a fresh spark to the battlefield. “I think Flying Cloud, because it just makes matches more exciting,” he noted. For him, the fun factor stood out, as the airborne mechanics encouraged more dynamic inter-lane interactions.
Dangerous Grass – Sutsujin, Skylar, Kiboy, Yazuke, Alekk
The grass-filled map quickly became one of the most popular picks. Kiboy shared his thoughts: “For me, the one with more bushes, since it creates more traps to catch opponents.” Skylar echoed a similar view, pointing out how Gold Lane heroes could thrive with ambush opportunities.
Alekk also saw Dangerous Grass as a playground for creative strategies. “It opens up more possibilities and suits trapping playstyles well,” he explained. Yazuke added, “I think this map is interesting because it can create many new gameplay styles.”
Sutsujin joined the conversation with a thoughtful comparison. “If it only adds more bushes, maybe it won’t differ too much from the current map. But if it’s the one with broken walls, the differences in taking objectives will be much bigger,” he said. His perspective showed how Dangerous Grass could shift the balance of cautious and aggressive play.
Expanding Rivers – Lutpii
Lastly, Expanding Rivers earned a place on the list thanks to Lutpii’s preference. “For me, the one with lots of water makes ganking and rotations easier and faster everywhere,” he explained. The widened river paths indeed offered flexible movement options, ideal for junglers and roamers who relied on fast rotations.
Overall, MPL ID players showcased a variety of reasons behind their chosen New MLBB Maps Favored. Broken Walls stood out for its rotational flexibility, Flying Cloud for its tempo and excitement, Dangerous Grass for its trap-based strategies, and Expanding Rivers for enabling quick ganks and rotations.
What made this even more intriguing was how preferences reflected player roles. EXP Laners leaned toward maps with better routes, Gold Laners liked ambush-heavy terrain, while junglers and roamers leaned on maps that enhanced movement and rotations. This emphasized how each map could define unique playstyles for every team.
No wonder fans now eagerly await to see how these maps will be implemented in future tournaments. Will Broken Walls become the go-to battleground for MPL ID teams, or will Dangerous Grass dominate? The answer remains to be seen. What’s certain is that the New MLBB Maps Favored by these pro players will inspire countless ranked matches, as public players look to replicate pro-level strategies in their own games.
