In this year's April issue, Saikyo Jump magazine published by Shueisha featured the final chapter of Natsumi Hokami's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu Academy manga. The manga is an adaptation of the spinoff short anime series Kimetsu Gakuen! which is based on the main manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge. The final compilation volume, namely the sixth volume, is scheduled to be released in Japan on April 4th 2024.

Natsumi Hokami, previously known for his work Hell Warden Higuma, started publishing the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu Academy manga in August 2021. To date, Shueisha has published the fifth volume of this manga on December 4th 2023. The manga features the main characters from the original manga in a school setting with the drawing style adapted to the super-deformed theme.

Viz Media, a leading publisher in the manga industry, has obtained the license to translate the manga into English. They describe this series as a story about Tanjiro and other members of the Demon Slayer Corps who face great challenges in school life. Additionally, four Valentine's Day-themed short anime entitled Kimetsu Gakuen Valentine-hen also premiered in February 2021.

Gotouge, creator of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga, began the series in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. After a successful run, the manga finally ended in May 2020 with the publication of the 23rd volume. The finale was in December 2020. Viz Media also released an English version of this manga.

Fans can also hope to see the continuation of the story through anime. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc is scheduled to premiere in the spring. Meanwhile, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc anime will premiere in April 2023 with a one-hour special episode consisting of 11 episodes.

Lastly, for fans who want to enjoy a more exclusive viewing experience, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- offers a theatrical screening of the hour-long first episode of the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc and the final episode from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc. The event opens in Tokyo on February 2nd 2024 as part of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba World Tour.
