The One Piece live-action series is confirmed to be airing on Netflix, as are the main cast. Based on an article written by Murphy's Multiverse Twitter account, the number of episodes of the One Piece live-action series was shortened to 8 episodes after it was planned to air 10 episodes.

Not long ago, images of the Going Merry ship circulated on the set of the One Piece live-action series, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa. Not only that but there were also sightings of the Alvida ship which was seen at the shooting location.

And most recently, there was a sighting of the village of Foosha seen on the set. Foosha Village is where Luffy was born and raised. Likewise with Ace and Sabo. Stay tuned for more news about One Piece live-action!
