Oda Reveals the Shape of Mero Mero no Mi in One Piece!
This is the shape of Mero Mero no Mi that Oda revealed!
Anime & Manga | 08 March
Mero Mero no Mi is a devil fruit eaten by Boa Hancock in One Piece. This Paramecia-type fruit gives the user the ability to turn people into stone. By just looking at Boa Hancock, someone can turn to stone if they have a weak will.
Recently, a Twitter account by the name @newworldartur uploaded a picture of the Mero Mero no Mi revealed by Eiichiro Oda. This devil fruit might look like lato-lato because there are two fruits on one stalk. One of them is red and the other one is purple. Even though the effect is dangerous, not everyone can be turned to stone by Boa Hancock.
Those with strong Haki cannot be turned to stone by it. This is different from Luffy who doesn't have any feelings for Hancock so he can't be turned into stone. Hancock herself is a former Shichibukai who is currently a fugitive, to be precise after the Shichibukai was disbanded.
