1. Spin Every Pokestop

A good trainer will spin the Pokestop he passes by. But don’t bother other people by entering their house to spin a Pokestop. The point is don’t go somewhere you can’t reach to spin a Pokestop.

2. Catch as Many Rare Pokemon as Possible

Gotta catch em’ all! That’s the motto of all trainers when playing Pokemon. A good trainer must have all kinds of rare Pokemon to use in a Raid Battle or for trading.

Rare Pokemon are found by exploring places and looking at the in-game radar. Usually, you can obtain a legendary pokemon from a specific Research Task or by beating the Raid Boss and catching it. By catching Pokemon, you will also obtain Candy.

3. Look for New Friends from Raid Battle

Raid Battle is a feature where players work together to beat a Boss. So as a good trainer, it would be best if you looked for friends to beat the Boss Raid.

Some trainers can solo a 5-star Raid Battle, but they are the “godly” trainers. If you are not as strong, then you should do it with other players.

4. Save Potions

You can’t always depend on Potion since the item is limited. Imagine having to walk around to spin a Pokestop because you run out of Potion? So as a good trainer, you need to cutback your potion usage.

Give the Potion to the strongest Pokemon first because that is the Pokemon you will use most of the time. Other Pokemon should wait in line!

5. Participate in Comday

Comday is a monthly event of Pokemon GO that brings out a specific pokemon in a huge number. The chance to obtain the shiny form of the Pokemon also increases, and the amount of EXP/Candy also doubles.

A good trainer will always participate in comday to look as many shiny Pokemon as possible that will be useful in a battle.
