The FFML Season 8 series has passed the League phase and is now heading towards the increasingly thrilling Semi Final and Grand Final rounds. On September 29th 2023, Garena Free Fire held a live stream titled "Backroom" which is a talk show between the coaches of the esports teams competing in FFML Season 8. In this FFML Season 8 Backroom program, the coach of the League Phase champion team, POCO Star, known as Bang Fayad, looks very confident and proud of his team's success.

POCO Star has made a mark by finishing first in the final standings of the FFML Season 8 Phase League. They earned this title after accumulating 121 points during the Final Week which took place from September 22nd to 24th 2023.

POCO Star managed to maintain the top spot with a total of 673 points, 29 points ahead of their closest competitor, RRQ Kazu. This achievement not only makes them the Phase League champions, but also ensures them as the first team from Indonesia to advance to the 2023 Free Fire World Series (FFWS) event in Bangkok!

One of the key factors to POCO Star's success is their consistency in play and objective approach to each match. They not only focused on collecting points from eliminations, but also paid special attention to the points earned from their team placements in each match. As a result, POCO Star achieved the highest number of points in both placements (345 points) and eliminations (328 points) among the 12 participating teams.

With all the achievements and dominance they showed during the FFML Season 8 League Phase, POCO Star's Bang Fayad looked very confident in the Backroom program. This is only natural, considering they managed to outperform tough competitors like Persis x Oke, Genesis Dogma, RRQ Kazu, and Tiger Wong Esports.

"From the beginning it has been like that, Jumawa with the words of people who have preparation is different." Said Bang Fayad when reminded by Coach Cassa of Genesis Dogma so that the POCO Star coach would not be overawed.

All eyes are now on their performances in the upcoming Semi Finals and Grand Final to see if their confidence will be rewarded with the FFML Season 8 title.
