At the beginning of the episode, Senku again gets into trouble after meeting a plane flying in the air. The existence of planes in the Stone Age is already very strange if someone other than Senku can make them. This plane also attacks all members of the Science Kingdom who are on a mission to find corn.

Senku, who feels threatened, quickly takes a rock and makes a pyrophoric. Pyrophoric is a weapon made of water mixed with calcium carbide. Calcium carbide itself comes from burning carbon and shells. After Senku asks Kirisame to throw it, the plane swerves and falls.
