Toei Animation released a new Dragon Ball Daima trailer featuring more mini versions of the characters and the opening song performed by Zedd and C&K entitled “Jaka Jaan” with lyrics written by “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” composer, Yukinojo Mori. In an interview with Daniel Castaneda, Toei Animation's Licensing Director for Latin America, it was stated that Daima will have 20 episodes and is scheduled to air in October 2024. Dragon Ball Daima is expected to be broadcast with subtitles and dubbing in various languages ​​to reach a global audience.

In contrast to Dragon Ball GT which starts with Goku as a small child, Daima claims to present "A Story That Has Never Been Told in Dragon Ball". With these claims, it is not surprising that this series offers something different compared to Dragon Ball GT.

The series takes place before the events of Dragon Ball Super, but after Goku and Vegeta's defeat of Kid Buu at the end of Dragon Ball Z. The teaser shows Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito as separate individuals, rather than as the result of their fusion, returning to their original forms.
