1. Love O2O
The 2016-released drama stars the handsome actor, Yang Yang. This drama tells the life of a computer science student, Xiao Nai (played by Yang Yang), who is very popular at his university and the CEO of a game company.
Xiao Nai accidentally meets a beautiful computer science student named Bei Wei Wei, but it's not only her beauty that catches his attention, but Wei Wei is also an excellent gamer. Due to his interest, Xiao Nai must try to capture Wei Wei's heart both in-game and in real life.
2. The King's Avatar
First aired in 2019, this drama also stars Yang Yang. This time, he plays Ye Xiu, a former esports pro player who was kicked out by his team for a particular reason. Adapted from a novel of the same title, this drama focuses more on stories that are closely related to the esports world.

Qiao Jing Jing (Dilraba Dilmurat) is a famous actress who becomes the brand ambassador of a game. However, since she is particularly good at playing video games, the public doesn't like her and she gets a lot of scorn for not reflecting her image as a game brand ambassador.
In order to mend her reputation, Jing Jing asks Yu Tu (Yang Yang), a spaceship engineer who's also a former pro-gamer for help. That's when the romance blossoms between them. Jing Jing slowly convinces Yu Tu to make a return to the gaming world, as well as being her mentor.
4. Falling Into Your Smile
This Chinese drama is based on a novel titled You're Beautiful When You Smile by Qing Mei. The story follows a well-known esports team called ZGDX OPL (Onmyoji Premier League), which is predominantly men. One day, a female pro player, Tong Yao, joins the team.
Besides focusing on Tong Yao, this drama also tells the story of Lu Si Cheng, the leader of the ZGDX OPL esports team. Her arrogant attitude initially makes Si Cheng doubt Tong Yao's abilities. However, the girl gradually steals Si Cheng's attention.

5. Go Go Squid!
It follows the love story of Tong Nian, a student and a famous online singer under the pseudonym 'Little Squid' on her social media. She meets Han Shang Yan, a legendary esports pro player, who is also infamously known for his cold personality and his indifferent attitude towards women.
Tong Nian falls in love with Shang Yan at first sight. Because of their contradicting personalities, you'll find your emotions played by the story. You'll also see how they maintain their relationship while trying to achieve their respective dreams.
6. Gank Your Heart
This esports drama features Wang Yibo, who plays Ji Xiang Kong, a handsome pro player and a strategist on his team who has huge female followings. Xiang Kong crosses paths with Qiu Ying, a beautiful rookie streamer who aspires to become an esports commentator, but has no experience in this field.
The two meet at an international game competition. On several occasions, Xiang Kong and Qiu Ying get involved with each other. The two slowly get closer and encourage each other to achieve their respective dreams.
7. Lucky’s First Love
It's an office romance story about Xing Yun, who is recruited by Xia Ke to work at his game company. He is a stubborn and ambitious man. Despite being born to a wealthy family, he refused to take over the family business and instead decided to make his own.
This drama focuses on Yun's journey from a sketch artist to a gaming designer. She experiences many hardships and has to put up with her new boss. Their constant bickering brings them closer and they learn about each other's difficulties in life and romance.
8. To Love, To Heal
This drama series tells the story of Xiao Shui Guang, a teacher who is depressed after the death of her boyfriend. Due to an incident at school, she meets her students' older brother, Zhang Zheng Lan, the CEO of a famous gaming company.
Zhen Lan sees Shui Guang as the person who inspired him to get into gaming and that's when he starts to pursue her. And their love story begins with various twists and turns that they have to overcome.
9. Love Scenery
It tells the story of a fourth-year computer major Lu Jing, who's a true gamer. He's really into computers, as well as research and analysis. Lu Jing isn't fond of the idea of interacting with women since he's shy despite being friendly.
One day, he meets a beautiful musician named Zhu Liang Chen, when the game that Lu Jing designed uses Liang Chen's old song and goes viral. Liang Chen gets invited to be a model for the game. The two become closer as Liang Chen asks Lu Jing to help her learn how to play the game.
10. Beyond Light Years
This drama revolves around Lu Yu Chen, a highly intelligent student with a genius high IQ who always uses his reasoning and analysis to solve problems. He crosses paths with freshman Xia Xiao Ci, who is a novice gamer.
Having completely opposite personalities, the two have a bumpy start in their relationship. However, Yu Chen slowly finds comfort in the smile that Xiao Ci always gives and her cheerful demeanor.
11. Cross Fire
The story this time tells the story of two gamers who join forces in the online game Cross Fire. In 2008, Xiao Feng was an esports team leader who always got looked down upon and ridiculed. Yet he still insisted on fighting for his teammates' dreams. In 2019, Lu Xiao Bei is a genius in the same game. He is actually a disabled young man in a wheelchair. Xiao Bei vows to continue his brother's legacy to become an esports player.
Even though the two live in different eras, a cosmic glitch causes them to transcend time and space as they are brought together within the same game. They initially distrust each other, but slowly build camaraderie before forming their own team and helping each other grow as individuals.
