Since 2011, the PC game platform by Valve, Steam never sell games owned by Electronic Arts (EA). because like Epic Games Store, EA also has its own online gaming store called Origin PC. However, EA opened the door to Steam to distribute one of its games last November 2019, Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order.
Along with that, EA finally presents its mainstay service, EA Access for Steam. But the name is changed into EA Play, where the service allows Steam users to play games owned by EA. gamers can play games owned by EA such as Titanfall 2, The Sims 4, and even Need for Speed: Heat by subscribing to the service that’s cheaper than purchasing the games one by one.
Despite EA Play coming to Steam, EA still keeps Origin exclusive with EA Play Pro. the name was initially Origin Access Premier and the features are better than EA Play on Steam.
For its price, EA Play’s starting price is US$4,99 (around Rp75 thousand) or US$6.45 (around Rp95 thousand) per month for Southeast Asia. while EA Play pro starts at US$14.99 (around Rp222 thousand) and US$19.00 (around Rp281 thousand) per month.
Steam users can enjoy EA Play starting 31 August 2020. So what do you think, are you interested to subscribe to the new service? Stay tuned for more information about games and don’t forget to follow Dunia Games on Facebook and Instagram.
