The two previous titles of the Mafia series that were handled by 2K Czech did manage to make the fans waiting eagerly for the third installment; until eventually, 2K worked with the developer, Hangar13, created Mafia 3 which has a ton of new features and a better graphic quality.

Behind the epic story of the conflict between Mafias with the main character named Lincoln Clay, you’re also spoiled with the vast play area to explore. As it turns out, within the massive playable area, the developer Hangar13 has also included some fascinating easter eggs that can be found during the main or side missions. Well, what are the weirdest easter eggs that exist in Mafia 3? Here are 5 of them!

5. A Woman Walking while Holding an Egg

If you hit the sidewalks of New Bordeaux, there are a lot of AI characters passing by. However, among those characters who walk on the sidewalk, it turns out that there’s a strange and riveting character, a middle-aged woman walking while holding an egg. That definitely means something, because, what did she have in mind walking down the street while holding an egg? Anyone?

4. A Car Carcass on a Tree

At the map of Mafia 3, you can find a car wreck hanging on a tree. It’s rumored that this car carcass is a hint to a real-life occurrence in Australia, where a car got stuck on a tree due to a flash flood that hit the city. Well, in Mafia 3, the stuck carcass also has a tombstone under the tree. Unfortunately, there’s no information on the person who died in said car.

3. Playboy Magazine

 
As in Mafia 2, 2K along with Hangar13 brings back a unique element aimed at the fans of the Mafia series. If you’re an explorative person, then throughout the missions, you may stumble upon a Playboy adult magazine, that contains real models from the 1968 edition.

2. Body Pieces and Corpses at the Factory

When you explore the Barclays Mills area in Mafia 3, there’s an abandoned factory filled with dead bodies scattered all over the are. Not only that, but there’s also mutilated bodies placed in a large drum, which makes it more repulsive. No one knows for sure who dumped the bodies and the chopped up limbs and torso in the abandoned factory. Do you have any theories about that?

1. A Guy Punching A Hanging Meat

Sylvester Stallone, who plays as Rocky in the Rocky Balboa series, was shown in a scene practicing boxing with hanging meat as a punching bag. In Mafia 3, apparently, you’re able to see an AI character punching the hanging meat in a slaughterhouse. What’s the point, you ask? Well, perhaps to tenderize the meat before being processed.
