If you’re a fan of Hearthstone, we have good news for you! The latest expansion, called Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, from Hearthstone is now available for you to get. In this update, you can get 135 new cards corrupted by the dark forces from the Whispers of the Old Gods.
The Old Gods first appeared in 2016 in the Whispers of the Old God expansion, and are making a return with the Madness at the Darkmoon Faire as legendary minions to remind us of their former glory. Aside from the feared C’Thun, N’Zoth, Y’Shaarj, and Yogg-Saron in their minion form, players can also summon the power of the Old Gods Artifacts, new and powerful spells that allow you to summon the power of the olds from the Whispers of the Old Gods.
Players who wish to get across the line can add cards with the keyword "Corrupt" to their deck, which will be upgraded to a stronger form when on your hand -- if a card with a higher Cost is being played.
The First Season of Hearthstone Duels Begins
In this expansion, there’s also a new game mode called "Hearthstone Duels", which combines the PvP mode in Arena, with the unpredictable deck-building experience from the most popular mode, Solo Adventure. Duels challenges players to build their starter deck from their own collection and upgrade it with additional cards and Treasure that will change the course of any game.
Each season, the pool of cards in Duels will be updated from the extensive Hearthstone card set catalog, along with new heroes, hero powers, and special Treasures. The theme for the debut season is Wizard Duels, featuring heroes from the scientists and figures from the Scholomance Academy expansion.
Players can also test their skills with Hearthstone Duels in Heroic mode to get rewards, such as in-game gold, cards, card packs, and Arcane Dust. The Heroic Duels modes are accessible for 150 gold or with a Tavern Ticket for $1.99 or around IDR 28,059. The better the player’s record at the end of the match, the better the rewards.
Rewards Track and Tavern Pass
But that’s not all. Hearthstone is also introducing a new system called Rewards Track, where players can get in-game gold, cards & packs, cosmetics, etc. This system contains free Tracks for players, and paid Tracks that you can buy with the Tavern Pass for $19.99 or around IDR 281,859.
Purchasing the Tavern Pass during the expansion will grant you the legendary minion Golden Silas Darkmoon, XP boost throughout the expansion, and paid Track items up to your current level.
Your progress in this paid Tavern Pass will also unlock:
- Annhylde Alternate Warrior Hero dan Card Back;
- Three Jaina Hero Skins;
- Three Thrall Hero Skins;
- Hearthstone’s first-ever collectible Cosmetic Coins.
