The absence of Ahmad in Alter Ego's roster announcement for the MPL ID Season 8 on YouTube has raised questions from many fans. Aside from Ahmad, other names, such as Yam and Caesius, were also missing. Despite being predicted of taking a hiatus for the upcoming season, Ahmad became the last name to be added to Alter Ego’s roster.

It’s announced by Alter Ego on an Instagram post -- which shows Alter Ego’s complete roster for the MPL ID Season 8. Here are the names of the players:

• Celiboy;
• Udil;
• LeoMurphy;
• Pai;
• Rasy;
• Nino;
• Ahmad.

As we can see, Alter Ego didn’t make a big overhaul. The team brought in Rasy from ONIC Esports. Whereas Nino has been promoted to the MPL since last season -- replacing Pai and Yam due to their health issues.
