Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 will present a special ending with an hour-long episode. Bleach anime production staff confirmed that Part 2 is ending on September 30th 2023 with a special episode that will consist of episodes 25 and 26. Additionally, the episode "The Blood Warfare, Separation [Interlude]," which is a compilation of the first half of Part 2, will air on September 2, 2023.

The anime returns to television screens with a second cour on July 8th 2023 on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan, as well as on various other streaming services. Part two will also be available to viewers in other countries via Disney+ on the same date. In the international version, the anime is equipped with subtitles in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Italian.

In this new installment, several new voice actors will join, including Aoi uūki as Liltotto, Tsuyoshi Koyama as Gerald, Soichiro Hoshi as Nianzol, and Nao Toyama as Giselle. Opening theme "STARS" is performed by three-piece rock band w.o.d., while ending theme "Endroll" is composed by Yoh Kamiyama.

The anime first premiered in Japan on October 10th 2022 and is available on more than 20 streaming services in Japan, including Hulu and Disney+. The anime will cover the remainder of the original manga's story until the very end. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc is the final arc in the manga and covers volumes 55-74.

Tomohisa Taguchi is taking over as director of the anime at Studio Pierrot, replacing Noriyuki Abe. Masashi Kudo is returning to design the characters, and Shiro SAGISU is returning to compose the music. Several Japanese voice actors who have not previously appeared in the anime series will be reprising their roles from the Bleach: Brave Souls game.
