Niantic returns with another event to keep the trainers occupied with Pokemon GO amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. The trainers can keep on playing for 6 straight hours with 6 different types of spawns in an incense day event.

Different spawns for different hours seems to be the theme of this event. These spawns can only be accessed using incense, so, it doesn’t require the trainers to actually go out to take part in this event.

Sentret will be the star of the event, as a large number of Sentret will be found easily during the 6 hours spawn regardless of the hour/theme. This is a great opportunity for those trainers who have been looking for Shiny Sentret.

In this event, incense will last for an hour, therefore, trainers will only need 6 incenses to participate in the event from the beginning till the end. To make it easier for you, Niantic has prepared a 3 incense bundle for just 1 poke coin. This event took place on April 19, 2020, from 11.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.

In the first hour, the types of spawn that will be attracted by incense are water-types. Poliwag, Tentacool, Spheal, and if you’re lucky enough, Clamperl will spawn more frequently. Next, from 12.00 P.M. to 1.00 P.M. it will shuffle to fire-types.

The Pokemon who will spawn more frequently by using incense are Growlithe, Ponyta, Houndour, and, Litwick! Litwick is quite rare at the moment. Trainers can use pinap berries when they spawn to expand Litwick’s candy stock.

Grass spawns will feature from 1.00 P.M. to 2.00 P.M. You may find Oddish, Roselia, Lilleep, or Ferroseed. Followed by psychic spawns from 2.00 P.M. to 3.00 P.M. with Slowpoke, Baltoy, Bronzor, and Gothita.

For the last two hours of the incense day, the spawns will shuffle to Bug & Ground-types. From 3.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. bug spawns, such as Caterpie, Ledyba, Skorupi, and Joltik will be found everywhere. Joltik is a Bug-Electric type Pokemon that was recently released in Pokemon GO.

Trainers may want to take advantage of their spawn and get more candies to evolve. Ground spawns will close this event from 4.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M. Barboach, Wooper, Hippopotas, and Drillbur will spawn more frequently on these hours using incense.
