After making its name in the esports scene and becoming one of the leading forces in Southeast Asia, EVOS has officially announced its expansion into basketball with the launch of EVOS Thunder Bogor.

EVOS Thunder Bogor will have its HQ at The Bucketlist, Bogor, and is planned to take part in the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) 2022. Unlike other basketball teams, EVOS Thunder Bogor’s HQ, The Bucketlist, will also serve as a community center for basketball and EVOS fans.

Talking about the launch of EVOS Thunder Bogor, the Managing Director of EVOS, Hartman Harris, stated “We are certainly excited and happy with the launch of the new addition to our family, EVOS Thunder Bogor. With this expansion, we hope to make a breakthrough in the basketball scene and the sportstainment industry. We chose basketball based on the interest and enthusiasm of our EVOS Fams towards the game of basketball.”

Led by the seasoned coach, Andre Yuwadi, EVOS Thunder Bogor is optimistic about starting its journey in the IBL 2022. In regards to the team’s launch, EVOS Thunder Bogor’s Head Coach, Andre Yuwadi, said, “It’s an honor for me to be trusted to lead EVOS Thunder Bogor, and become part of the EVOS family. We’re optimistic that the unending support from EVOS Fams, coupled with the quality of the team, will propel us to excel in various competitions, and certainly become the pride of EVOS Fams.”

“With EVOS Thunder Bogor, we certainly hope to make achievements and make EVOS and Indonesia proud in various scenes. It is also our hope that with EVOS Thunder Bogor, we’ll be able to get closer to EVOS Fams, and basketball fans all over Indonesia,” Hartman Harris concluded.
