The staff of the anime adaptation of the light novel series Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells by Kaoru Shinozaki have revealed interesting information in their latest promotional video. In the video, it was announced that the Failure Frame anime series will begin airing in July 2024.

The opening song titled "HAZURE" will be sung by Chogakusei. In addition, a second visual key poster was also revealed along with this announcement. 

Here are the cast members who will star in the series:

- Ryota Suzuki as Toka Mimori

- Saki Miyashita as Celes Ashrain

- Ayami Tsukui as Pigimaru

- Ami Koshimizu as Vicious

The premiere will be held at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on May 19th 2024.

Seven Seas has licensed both the light novel series and the manga adaptation. The story follows Touka Mimori and her friends who are suddenly thrown into a fantasy world or isekai by the local goddess to become heroes.

Although most of the students show extraordinary skills, Mimori is at the bottom of the rankings. However, it turns out that Mimori's abilities are not as useless as expected.

Michio Fukuda will direct this anime at Seven Arcs studio in collaboration with Synergy SP. Yasuhiro Nakanishi will handle the series' screenplay, while Kana Hashidate will be in charge as the main character designer and animation director. Tatsuhiko Saiki will compose the music for the series.

The light novel first debuted on Overlap's Comic Gardo site in July 2018. The 11th volume with illustrations by KWKM was released in Japan on June 25. Meanwhile, the manga adaptation was first published on Comic Gardo in July 2019. The 8th volume of the manga adaptation was released in Japan on June 25th 2023. With this announcement, fans should be looking forward to the Failure Frame anime series.
