One of Netflix's original melodrama K-dramas, A Time Called You released all its episodes last Friday. This drama is one of the most eagerly anticipated by Korean drama fans since early 2023.

The drama, starring Ahn Hyo Seop, Jeon Yeon Been and Kang Hoon, tells the story of Jun Hee who still has not gotten over the death of her boyfriend. One day, she travels back to 1998 and becomes a high school student. There, she meets Yeon Jun who is very similar to her late boyfriend.

This K-drama is actually adapted from a Taiwanese series with the original title 'Someday or One Day'. Someday Or One Day itself is a popular series in its country, and a Chinese film version with the same title has been produced with the title Want to See You.

2. Time Traveler Genre

A Time Called You is one of the dramas that carries the theme of time travel or time travelers. It starts with Han Joon Hee who gets a cassette in a mysterious way. She then listened to the tape until she fell asleep.

When she woke up from her sleep, it turned out she had returned to 1998 and was in the hospital. After waking up, she saw someone in front of her. However, what’s more surprising was that this person resembled her late lover.

3. Jeon Yeo Been and Ahn Hyo Seop Playing Two Characters

In this drama, Jeon Yeo Been and Ahn Hyo Seop play two characters. In the present, Jeon Yeo Been plays Han Joon Hee and Ahn Hyo Seop plays the character Goo Yeon Joon. Meanwhile, in 1998 Jeon Yeo Been played a high school student named Kwon Min Joo and Ahn Hyo Seop as Nam Si Heon.

4. Triangle Love Story

This drama, which has a back and forth plot, will feature a love triangle story between Kwon Min Joo, Nam Si Heon, and Jung In Kyu.

Even though initially Nam Si Heon was determined that he couldn't possibly like Kwon Min Joo, Kwon Min Joo's attitude changed when she woke up in the hospital. Even though Nam Si Heon's best friend, Jung In Kyu, is also starting to like Kwon Min Joo.

5. NewJeans To Sing The OST

A drama series may never be complete if there is no soundtrack. In A Time Called You, one of the girl groups nicknamed Monster Rookie, namely NewJeans, sings one of the soundtracks with the title Beautiful Restriction.
