Ahead of the release of the She-Hulk series, there are quite a number of characters that are expected to be present in the series, one of them is Amadeus Cho. Amadeus Cho also has the ability to turn into the Hulk as well as having a genius brain. Many still don't know who Amadeus Cho really is and what kind of abilities are known only in Marvel comics.
The Dunia Games team will discuss some surprising facts about Amadeus Cho that can only be found in Marvel comics. Let's see in more detail.
1. 7th Smartest Person in the World
Amadeus Cho started his hero journey when he was a child. On Incredible Hercules #137, his origin is shown. Cho took part in a test held in his hometown of Arizona, where he was nominated for the smartest person in the world. Cho was finally crowned as the seventh smartest person in the world, but then someone told him that he was down to rank 10. It was just a con to confuse him, because obviously he was already officially listed at rank 7th.
2. His Parents Died In Pythagoras Dupree's Attack
In Incredible Hercules #137, Cho does show that he is a smart person, but unfortunately it is really a trick of a man. The man is Pythagoras Dupree, who is claimed to be the sixth smartest person in the world. He, like Amadeus Cho, was targeted by the Greek goddess Athena, but he knew the danger and chose to try to kill Cho rather than let him fall into the goddess's plans. The attack on Cho did fail, but his parents died in the explosion he created.
3. Hulk Likes Him More Than Bruce Banner
Just like Rick Jones before him, Amadeus Cho met the Hulk early in his life, and immediately developed a kinship with the green man. In Amazing Fantasy #15, Cho runs away and tries to find the person responsible for the murder of his parents. Unfortunately he made a lot of wrong decisions, until then he was attacked by people who killed his family. Luckily the Hulk saves him and tells Cho that Banner is weak, "unlike us".
4. His Greatest Power Is His Own Brain
Just like with Bruce Banner, the person behind the Hulk has always been smart, but Cho seems to be smarter than Dr. Bruce Banners. Before becoming the Hulk, Cho was already smart from a young age, even from his appearance in Amazing Fantasy, Cho showed that he had superpowers from the start, and that was his brain. He could see every variable of any situation that would result, and find the perfect weapon to get out of it. For example, there is no need for power, he can bring down a helicopter using only gravel.
5. Tested the Hulk
In fact, no matter how angry the Hulk is, Cho thinks that he won't kill anyone, and to prove that he tries to test the Hulk. In Hulk #110, Cho tries to anger the Hulk by risking his own life by angering the Hulk, which he blames for everything from the death of his wife to the death of Betty Ross. In the end, the Hulk gave in. It's evident he didn't kill Cho despite his rage, and that proves that he's capable of doing the right thing.

6. Been a Hercules Sidekick
Of course, many think that Amadeus Cho will always have a relationship with the Hulk, where both of them will spend most of their time on their hero activities. But in the comic version this is not the case, Cho is known to be a sidekick of Hercules. With Hercules also strong, Cho and Hercules can use their combined skills, both Cho's brain, and Hercules' powers, which are used to solve almost impossible problems.
7. Destined to be The Prince of Power
The death of Amadeus Cho's parents and his partnership with Hercules, it turns out that it was all a plan masterminded by the Greek Goddess Athena. The goddess had previously offered Pythagoras Dupree an offer to replace Hercules as a hero on Earth. But he rebelled against her, and he wanted to kill Cho instead, which resulted in his parents dying. In the storyline of Heroic Age: Prince of Power, Athena decides to recruit Cho to replace Hercules, but he also refuses the offer.
8. Become the Hulk for Helping the Hulk Absorb Radiation
Instead of being the next Prince of Power on Earth to represent the Greek gods, Amadeus Cho became the Hulk. It all started when the Hulk tried to help the Avengers in the radiation accident that occurred, and he absorbed all of the radiation. Unfortunately the Hulk couldn't stand it, and it made Cho help him by absorbing the gamma energy from the Hulk into him. After that, he even became a new Hulk, while still having the intelligence like Professor Hulk.
9. His Parents' Death Turns Him Into A Mindless Hulk
Even if he doesn't have any childhood trauma, or doesn't get angry easily, Cho can still potentially be a geeky Hulk. The trigger is clearly the incident that happened to the death of his parents, and it clearly made him angry and could turn into the real Hulk. Once upon a time, there was someone who made him angry because of it, and it made Cho, who became the Rage Hulk the target of the US Government. Fortunately Cho was able to regain control and stop his inner turmoil.
10. Brawn Is His Version of The Hulk
When Cho manages to defeat the Hulk with his mind, he changes again but with a difference, which is to become the great green-skinned hero known as Brawn. He rejoins The Champions and begins trying to atone for his past actions. This version of Cho could certainly retain all his wits, but it was also one that would lead to new levels of insecurity, as in the long line of A-class teen superheroes that would become the future of Marvel Comics.
