When Anko Mitarashi was first introduced in the anime and manga series Naruto, many people would think she had quite an important role given her relationship with Orochimaru. In the manga, Anko Mitarashi's hair is black with a slight mix of blue. For some reason, the anime series decided to make her hair dark purple.

4. Anko Never Completed Her Revenge

With the way her character is built, Anko Mitarashi's only goal in life is to defeat Orochimaru. It made many people think that she would get a chance to actually fight with her former mentor. When they met early in the series, Orochimaru simply activated his cursed seal and won easily.

Anko couldn't even beat Orochimaru's subordinate named Kabuto. Their brief battle during the ninja war also shows how big the power gap between the two of them is.

5. She Knows How To Release Yin In The Anime Series

Yin Release is not a powerful technique considering Anko Mitarashi's role as supervisor in the Chunin Exams. Anko is tasked with testing Genin's mettle.
