Haikyuu! Season 4 Episode 14 Facts: Second Match, Karasuno vs Inarizaki!

In Haikyuu! season 4 episode 14, Karasuno starts to face their second opponent in National Tournament!

After beating Shiratorizawa High on Season 3, Karasuno manages to go to National Tournament. There, there are plenty of formidable opponents await. On the second match on this tournament, Karasuno faces against Inarizaki High that strengthened with Miya twins, Miya Atsumu and Miya Osamu.

Miya Atsumu is known as the best Setter who can make any Spiker feels that he’s the best, while his twin brother, Osamu has similar abilities. The Haikyuu! season 4 part 2 will be focussing on the second match. Then, how Karasuno fight them? Here are facts about Haikyuu! season 4 episode 14!

1. New Opening Song

On the season 4 first par,t, Haikyuu!'s opening song was Phoenix by Burnout Syndrome. Previously, this band also feature their song titled "Hikari Are" as the opening for on season 3. In season 4 second part, the opening song is Breakthrough by Super Beaver. Haikyu!’s openings are always catchy to listen to!

2. Hinata’s High Jump

At the beginning of the match, Hinata tries his best jump by reflexes when wants to smash the ball passed by Kageyama. Sadly, he forgets that he’s in a tournament. In the end, Hinata jumps without smashing the ball. Aside from getting scolded by Kageyama, Hinata is also embarrassed because all eyes on him.

If we take a look at the positive side, that gives a little pressure on Inarizaki. Miya Atsumu who previously underestimate him, now recognized as a threat. Hoshiumi who sees the jump thinks that Hinata tried to copy his high jump, even Kageyama didn't know that Hinata could jump that high.

3. Pressures from Inarizaki's Supporters

The drums and trumpets from Inarizaki’s fans give heavy pressure to Karasuno. As the result, this makes them losing confidence. Kageyama’s serves that usually good, turn into worse. Not only that, but Tanaka’s serve also hit the net. If they cannot cope with the pressure, then they can’t win.

Luckily, not long after that, Tanaka’s older sister, Saeko, comes with a group of taiko performers as the supporter. After performing some chants, the sound manages to beat the pressure from the rival. This makes Karasuno gains confidence and rises again.

4. Two-Way Serve User

On the night before the match, coach Ukai explained about Miya Atsumu who is the user of two-way serve. He can use Spike Serve and Jump Floater. Before serve, he will count his footsteps. If he walks four steps from the last line, then he will execute Jump Floater. If he walks six steps away from the last line, then he will do Spike Serve.

Even though they already knew it, they still cannot Miya’s serves. With a high speed, the ball appears right before Nishinoya’s eyes. As a result, Noya cannot act in time and a score for Inarizaki. What's more dangerous, the Miya twins already learned how to execute Hinata and Kageyama’s fastball.
