Maybe many One Piece fans don't know who Ichika is because she only appears once. This time, Dunia Games wants to discuss who Ichika is and various facts in One Piece. Here are various facts about Ichika that you might not know!

1. The Quintuplet Mermaid

Ichika is introduced as one of the quintuplet mermaids. Her four siblings are Nika, Sanka, Yonka, and Yonka Two. They all have a similar appearance with shoulder-length, curly hair and bubbles on their bodies that serve to float in the air.

Ichika has red hair, Nika has blonde hair, Sanka has orange hair, Yonka has pink hair, and Yonka Two has brown hair.

2. A Friend of Camie

Ichika and her four siblings are introduced as Camie's friends. While preparing tea for the Straw Hats, the five of them were seen helping Camie in the kitchen. Their bodies are very small, much different from Camie's. Ichika's body size is probably the same as Leo in the Dressrosa arc.

Camie also mentioned that these quintuplets have the ability to swim very fast. Probably faster than most other fishmen.

3. Name Based on Japanese Numbers

These quintuplet mermaids are named after numbers in Japanese. Ichika comes from ichi which means one. Nika comes from ni which means two. Sanka comes from san which means three. Yonka comes from yon which means four.

The youngest should be called Goka because go means five. But for some reason, she’s called Yonka Two. Usopp had asked why her name wasn't Goka, but they couldn't understand why the last one was called Yonka Two. This is one of the funniest scenes of that time.

4. Their Unique Talking Manner

The five mermaids speak in different styles. Ichika started the conversation with the usual statement. Then Nika will bring up something that Ichika talked about. Meanwhile, Sanka will mention the opposite of that statement. Yonka would mention it while showing doubt. Lastly, Yonka Two will ask for the certainty of that statement.

For example, if Ichika says "Luffy is a pirate". Nika replies with "Yes, he is a pirate!" Sanka replies "He's not a pirate!". Then, Yonka says "He might be a pirate". Lastly, Yonka Two will say “Then what if he is a pirate?”

5. Appear in a Game

Ichika and her four sisters appeared in One Piece: Gigant Battle! 2 New World. This is one of the One Piece games released for the Nintendo DS console in 2011.
