Vellani told CBS about “Hala”, a film she chose, “It's beautiful the way Minhal Baig, the director, projects his entire life story into the charming character of Hala who is a Pakistani-American Muslim teenager with immigrant parents, actually just like me, so I really got to relate a lot to this film.”

“Hala” is a film about a girl who has to balance her faith and western culture. The film tackles basically the same themes as the “Ms. Marvels". Nonetheless, no one else could play a better role than someone who could relate to the theme like Vellani.

10. She Love to Write Film Review

After news broke that Iman Vellani had played a role in Ms. Marvel, many people started digging to try to find more information about the young actress. One of the few pieces of information that many people have found is that Iman Vellani has an account on the Letterboxd website. This platform allows movie fans to write a review and give their opinion about the movie they have watched.
