1. King Kong Defeats Godzilla
In the film King Kong Vs Godzilla (1962), a remake of their fight was made, entitled Godzilla Vs. Kong (2021), which has better visual effects and an updated story concept but doesn't take away the essence of the story. King Kong won by a landslide against Godzilla.
2. Real Name King Kong
Merian C. Cooper who is the author of the King Kong story, wrote the first draft of King Kong with the title The Beast. However RKO executives changed it to Jungle Beast, but the production company did not agree. In the end Cooper changed it to Kong, and the executives added the word King, forming the word King Kong.
3. Legality
In 1962, RKO licensed the character King Kong to Toho to create the project King Kong vs. Godzilla. However, Merian C. Cooper, who is the author of the King Kong story, only gave permission to RKO to make the film King Kong (1933).
4. Animated Kong
Kong: King of Apes was adapted into an animated film and premiered on Netflix in 2016, set in 2050. Kong is a wanted fugitive for destroying a priceless museum.

5. Making Kong
Merian C. Cooper teamed up with Willis O'Brien to make the film Kong. Willis is a stop motion animator assigned to create Kong's animated models. Cooper had rejected several models made by Willis until finally Cooper gave Willis the direction of the Kong model and finally succeeded in making it.
6. Size Calculation
Merian C. Cooper initially made the Kong 40-50 feet, but Willis O'Brien scaled the Kong model to 18 feet. The size changes with each new movie that will be made. Until Kong reaches 100 feet in his latest film, Godzilla vs. Kong (2021).
7. Tall, Dark Colored And Handsome
Merian C. Cooper asked Fay Wray to be the main character in his film. Wray thought that she would get a co-star like Clark Gable, after Cooper told her that his co-star was tall, dark skinned and handsome. However, Wray ends up disappointed when he finds out that his co-star is a giant gorilla.
8. Remake
In 1976, Kong was given its first official remake starring Jeff Bridges, with an official sequel planned for the next 10 years entitled Kong Kong Lives. In 2005, the remake was made again, Peter Jackson from The Lord of the Ring directing the upcoming film Kong.
