The Batman must be admitted to be a very interesting movie to watch and follow. This is a solo Batman movie after Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy which ended in 2012. Admittedly, it's no wonder that you and other fans are waiting for the movie to come.
There are quite a lot of interesting things that happen in The Batman movie and some of them are quite scary. Although the word scary is not always related to horror, of course this can damage the psychology of the audience or the actors involved.
So what are the scary facts about The Batman? Here's a discussion of scary facts about The Batman.
1. 200 Times Takes!

The first fact is about one of the Riddle scenes played by Paul Dano. In one of his scenes, Paul Dano had to feel a super horrible shooting scene because he had to take 200 times to get the perfect scene.
You read that right because he actually did 200 takes! This was revealed by Matt Reeves as director. The scene involves the Riddler having to talk to Batman over a video call. To film the scene, Dano is alone in a room with only an iPhone, while the rest of the cast and crew are at the scene of a murder at Gotham City Hall.

The scene does seem simple, but in reality it is not easy to do. Finally Dano made 200 takes before he could finish it perfectly.
"Okay, let me try one where I'm not looking at the camera and I stay focused. Let me try one where I'm already sitting there." Reeves told the media.
“It was the dizziness that really got to me. I'm dizzy because of this. He is very inventive and creative. He's also very self-critical." Said Reeves.
2. Multiple Personalities, Alfred Hitchcock's Inspiration
Of course this is quite a horror for the people involved because doing 200 takes is not an easy job and requires energy and a good mood. The second fact that is also quite horrible is how The Batman includes elements of horror in the movie.
You could say this prequel movie does have a gloomy tone in it. It turned out that the terrible impression came because Matt Reeves really idolized the figure of Alfred Hitchcock. For those who don't know, Hitchcock is a horror director who is famous for the movie Psycho.
In The Batman, Hitchcock's theme of multiple personalities is brought up, bringing out not only the good side of Batman and Bruce Wayne, but also their dark side. Not only that, this dual personality also extends to the characters in it, including The Riddler.
"So many times Batman comes out of the shadows or the Riddler does what he does so it almost feels like a horror movie."
Even in one interview Reeves said that he almost made The Batman movie into a horror one.
