In the previous episode, Kid and Law managed to beat Big Mom. Big Mom's death changes the era where the new Yonkou will rule the seas. In this week's episode, Izo fought against CP0, while Luffy continued to fight against Kaido. Here are some facts from One Piece episode 1068!

1. Izo vs CP0

The two CP0 members, Guernica and Maha, meet Izo in the middle of the Onigashima castle fire. Actually, these two CP0 members didn't want to fight Izo, but because of Izo's determination to protect Okiku and everyone who helped him, he attacked them.

The battle was unavoidable. As members of CP0, of course Guernica and Maha are not just random fighters. Likewise with Izo, one of the commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates with a bounty of 500 million Belly. The three of them also fought in the great Onigashima castle fire.

2. Izo Sacrifice

Not wanting to let them escape, Izo fought while sacrificing himself. Several times Izo's chest was hit by Shigan's attacks which were quite fatal from Maha and Guernica. Izo didn't flinch as he attacked the two of them. In the end, Izo also managed to give Maha a crushing attack that killed him.

Izo himself could not survive the fatal blow he received. Yes, Izo died as a loyal follower of Kozuki Oden. From the start, Izo had intended to die in the Onigashima war in order to protect the future of the Kozuki clan. Guernica, who realized this, looked desperate and lost her spirits.

3. Order from Gorosei

Shortly after the death of Izo and Maha, Guernica received a call from another CP0 member, Joseph. They received a new order from the Gorosei which stated that Luffy the Straw Hat must be eliminated right away. Most likely this is because the Gorosei have realized the true devil fruit that Luffy ate.

4. Komurasaki Revenge

Orochi, who thought that Komurasaki was still alive, looked calm. He still doesn't know that Komurasaki is Hiyori, Oden's daughter. When the castle shook, Orochi was hit by a rock and that's when he found out that Komurasaki was Oden's daughter. Komurasaki also stuck a sea rock into Orochi so that his devil fruit ability would not activate.

Shortly after Big Mom's defeat, Kaido realized that Big Mom had been killed. Even though she could be said to be a rival, Kaido felt so angry that he even cried. This is because they are very close and have been in the same pirate group.

It was also shown when Big Mom was young welcoming Kaido when he joined the Rocks group. At that time Kaido was only 15 years old, while Big Mom was already in her 20s.
